The Vine at Fortwood conceptual rendering to give overall feel actual finishes and details may vary

A Look at How the Day Unfolds

The Vine at Fortwood Micro-Wedding Experience

Micro-weddings at The Vine at Fortwood are designed as a thoughtfully paced, three-hour experience. The timeline below reflects the natural flow of the day—allowing space for meaningful moments, beautiful imagery, and relaxed celebration without feeling rushed or overly structured.
This sample timeline is intended to provide clarity and reassurance. Each celebration is guided with care, and the overall flow remains consistent to ensure a seamless experience for couples and guests alike.

One Hour Before the Ceremony

Couple Arrival & Final Touches
Couples arrive at the venue approximately one hour prior to the ceremony. This time is reserved for final wardrobe adjustments, bouquet placement, and quiet moments before the celebration begins. A softly defined finishing area within the venue is available for this purpose. Couples are invited to arrive mostly dressed.
During this time, the photographer captures pre-ceremony details and calm, unhurried portraits.

Thirty Minutes Before the Ceremony

Guest Arrival
Guests begin arriving and are welcomed into the space. Music plays softly as guests settle in and enjoy the atmosphere before the ceremony.

Ceremony

Approximately 20 Minutes
The ceremony is intimate and intentional, allowing the focus to remain on the couple and the significance of the moment.

Immediately Following the Ceremony

Private Couple Portrait Session (30 Minutes)
After the ceremony, the couple steps away briefly for a private portrait session in the surrounding Fort Wood neighborhood. This time allows for relaxed, meaningful portraits in a beautiful historic setting.
While the couple is away, guests enjoy champagne and dessert, ensuring the celebration continues seamlessly.

Celebration Continues

Cake Cutting, Champagne Toast & Optional First Dance
The couple returns to the venue to rejoin their guests. The celebration resumes with a cake cutting, champagne toast, and an optional first dance, followed by time to mingle and enjoy dessert together.

Closing Moments

Mingling & Sendoff
The final portion of the experience is reserved for relaxed conversation, candid moments, and a graceful sendoff to conclude the celebration.

A Thoughtful Note on Timing

This timeline is intentionally structured to preserve the flow of the experience and ensure guests are always engaged. Family portraits and additional timeline adjustments are not included by default but may be requested in advance as enhancements, subject to availability.

Every element of the timeline is designed to feel natural, unrushed, and fully supported—so couples can be present and enjoy the day as it unfolds.
