Meet Shaun Teague | The Founder of Elope Chattanooga 

I’m Shaun Teague, founder and primary officiant of Elope Chattanooga, and I’m so excited to help you create an unforgettable, meaningful wedding day. While Elope Chattanooga is my passion, it’s actually part of a bigger picture—our parent company, Cue the Champagne Event Planning and Design, has been serving couples for over 14 years. We specialize in full-service wedding planning, bringing together countless moving pieces to create the perfect celebration. This extensive experience is what allows us to easily pivot to elopements, treating them with the same level of care and attention to detail.

Just because your wedding is small doesn’t mean it’s any less important. In fact, we believe that every elopement deserves to be treated with expert-level care, just like a larger celebration. Our years of experience in designing grand weddings give us a unique perspective and a keen eye for making your elopement just as stunning, thoughtful, and personalized as you envision it.


At Cue the Champagne, we have a talented team of floral designers who create breathtaking arrangements—whether for a grand ballroom or an intimate elopement. We bring that same level of creativity and expertise to every floral design, making sure your day feels just as special as you are.

As someone who has been married more than once, I understand the full spectrum of emotions that come with planning a wedding. Elope Chattanooga is a judgment-free zone where your vision takes center stage. I’m also a mom and wife, so I know how important family is, and how challenging it can be to exclude them from your big day. Elope Chattanooga officiants are ordained through non- online ordination institutions and meet the required laws and definitions of Tennessee for being able to perform legal wedding ceremonies. We are registered with the Hamilton County Clerk's office and a trusted official for completing the marriage license paperwork as required.
